North Shore Kamloops Optical Centre is now newly renovated with updated facilities and services. The wonderful clinic first opened over 40 years ago and is now an improved facility that offers the same great service.
Our location is at the North Shore of Kamloops in a busy commercial centre. We have nice surroundings and neighbourhoods that are doing all kinds of business. Our staff is professional, creative and positive. Our clinic has a number of optometrists and high-level eye care specialists, well-known for their unique skills for eye examinations, children's myopia control, vision correction, and diagnosis of common eye disorders.

We have a knowledgeable and friendly optician who has been working here for more than six years. She will help you order glasses from any recent prescription and order contact lens replacements as well.

Dr. Lindsay Williston
Dr. Williston was born in Quesnel, but has lived in Kamloops for most of her life. She started her post-secondary education at UCC (now TRU), where she obtained her Bachelor of Science before heading off to the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. She graduated in 2007 and has been with KFVC since 2008. She joined the team at Northshore Optical Centre in the beginning of 2023.
Dr. Williston loves to spend time outdoors, hiking all year round with her husband and young son, playing soccer and rock climbing when she gets a chance and boating on the Shuswap with her family and friends!

Yang Liu (Optician)
Yang was born in China, but has carried his Optical career in Vancouver as he opened his own Optical store. He obtained his Optician License several years ago from Douglas College and has gained several years of hands-on experience. He joined the team at Northshore Optical Centre in the beginning of 2023. Yang is a father of a beautiful little girl and loves to travel back and forth from Vancouver with his wife.
Dr. Lee is originally from Malaysia and has lived in BC for the last 35 years since migrating in 1989. He is fluent in 6 languages which include English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Hakka, and Hokkien. Dr. Lee is the first optometrist in BC to promote orthokeratology. He has successfully treated over a thousand BC children with orthokeratology and fit thousands of ortho-k lenses. He flies in from Vancouver to take in patients here at the North Shore Optical Centre.
